Why minister in Africa?

Let The World Hear His Voice

In the last few years I have become more aware of the impact of eternity on the lives of so many around us. To be in some of the countries of Southern Africa, where for so many life is very tough. I have also observed that this has brought about an openness to the gospel of God.

God in His sovereignty has brought this situation and ourselves together. The situation in countries such as Zimbabwe and South Africa and many other African nations is critical . It is said that most of the modern generation will not see the age of 40 and many are dying long before this age.

I believe we have been given a window of opportunity to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Using such things as tents in large populated areas and in the hiring of halls and buildings and stadiums, giving opportunities for Christian churches to bring crowds together for the sharing of the gospel in these very trying times. There is also a great need for training in discipliship.

The need is now, the need is urgent. We believe as followers of Jesus Christ who live in a country of great affluence and freedom, we have a great responsibility to God to use our time, our gifts, our finances and bodies to assist the African churches in the furtherance of the gospel using whatever means we have to help.
